how big is to big for turbo's on a 4.1 crossflow

have come into possion of a garret turbo which may be a little on the large side.
its a gt4508r specs here

it has a 1.01 or 1.15 havent looked at in a while turbine housing.
its recomended for 5 to 8L engine's with a power celing of 800-1200hp.
will this spool before 5000 on a 250cuin crossflow

Depends what you mean spool up! It will start producing boost before 3000rpm but the party would really start at around 4000.

This would be good for a drag car with big converter..not too good for the street.
