I have a 250 X-flow. I want to find what size( in inches) is the radiator hoses where they fit on the engine.I want to see if a radiator from a Mustang will work with this engine. Thanks for any and all help Ken N.

MustangSix has a 250 Crossflow in his 66 Mustang. Check it out here:

Here is what he said about the water pump:
"The water pump is aluminum, but the bolt pattern is identical to the US version.....The Oz water pump is alloy vs cast iron. It has a steel plate sandwiched between the pump and the impeller. Judging from the amount of silicone I found on both engines, leakage might be a problem. I cannot figure out how to change the inner gasket without pressing the pump apart. I think that if you ever develop a leak, you have to put on a new pump. The US250 pump will interchange and I think I will use it instead.."
If you contact him, he would be able to tell you what radiator he used.
When I did my US250 swap back in the late 70's, I used the stock 6cyl radiator without a problem.
