144 out of 1962 XL Falcon - colours

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what colour the rocker cover and aircleaner should be on a 144 from a 1962 XL falcon deluxe? Did the 144 ever have the racquet style air cleaner assembly or did they always have to "open" type

--------------------heres a bit of a non answer ...i do know the XL170's had cream rockercovers/aircleaners,
later by 1964 (xm)

Ford used colors to outwardly identify each: 144-cube engines had their rocker cover and air cleaner painted light green, 170 Pursuit engines were painted red, and 200 Super Pursuits were yellow (actuallay gold)

and early xk's 144 were a mid blue - open aircleaner.


i just looked in the ford shop manual (official) blue cover and it has a pic of XL engine bay with the 'raquet' type aircleaner - no info if its 144 or 170.- and what year ,because for all i know it could have been a running changein the XL

I have a 144 XK, it's blue, with a half open style air cleaner.
My XM 170 is red.
