I am looking for some guidance as to initial settings to tune up a 4.1 carby xflow
1976 block with breaker point Bosch ignition
82 alloy carby head with 34 ADM
PVC and dizzy vacuum sourced directly off manifold
EGR and TVS switches removed, no emission controls other than the electronic choke
Information I am requesting:
1) breaker point setting for the point gap/dwell angle
2) initial timing advance in degrees, vacuum hose disconnected and capped for setting. mild Crow cam #14613
3) idle speed in rpm
4) 34 ADM left side primary air fuel bleed screw turns out from seat
6) 34 ADM right side secondary air fuel bleed screw turns out from seat
Any other settings you may feel are important that would help me to get this engine to smooth out and run a bit cooler.
I have a Gregory's manual (Falcon XE 82-84)that gives just enough information to get me in trouble, not really much help in there. I need the advice of people that have hands on experience with these engines.

1)Dwell angle for Fords with the Bosch non electronic are 37.5 degrees with points at 12-16 thou for the gap
Std Motorcraft dissy is Bosch Series 62, part number78 DA-12100-AB. Bosch PN 9 280 062 651, stamped 931. Rotor is 9 231 064 312.
Champion Plugs at 35 thou
2)Generally, 9 degrees before top dead centre, and set jets with a narrow band oxygen sensor and volt meter.
3)650 rpm +/- 50 rpm in drive
4)850 rpm +/- 50 rpm in park

My 82 US Mustang runs an alloy head 84DA block, and I'll let you know what the setting are, but if you use an O2 sensor, then look for about 0.250 volts.

Rich is 0.250volts, or about 14.1-14.2:1,
stoich for modern fuel is is 0.480v-0.510v, 14.5-14.6:1.
Lean is and 0.750volts, around 14.9-15.0:1.
