Is there x-flow header in the US. Does anyone know if the header that fit a x-flow the same as US 250 or maybe US 300. I thinking if I have to have an exhaust made because the use down pipes are 1 3/4 or maybe 1 7/8. It need to be I think 2 in or better. Do it all one time.

The header that fits an x-flow is not the same as a US 250 or 300. The exhaust ports on the x-flow are at a 90-degree angle with the head, the US 250 ports are at a down angle.
The x-flow header is made for an engine with a high mount starter, the US 250 has a low mount starter.

Depends if we are talking a bunch of bananas header or the cast iron exhaust manifolds single header pipe.

If its just the pipe, the US 250 one is similar, but it is deisgned for low mount starter.

The header pipe for the X-flow cast iron exhaust header is the same as the US 200 non cross flow, they bolt right in, but the Aussie x-flow is 1.577" taller and the Aussie starter comes out more because its designed around the 157 to 160 teeth flexplate or flywheel.

1971-1972 XY Falcon/ Fairmont 200/250 header is tall deck 9.38" engine, similar as US Falcon/Fairlane Ranchero/Torino 9.469" 250

In the same way
1972-1973 XA Falcon/ Fairmont 200/250 header
1973-1976 XB Falcon/ Fairmont 200/250 header
1976-1993 XC, XD, XE, XF Falcon/ Fairmont 3.3/4.1 header is same.

Id is 1-7/8" if i recall. The Falcon 6 manual lists larger non cross flow diameters as well.

xctasy isn't the 1 7/8 to small . That is why I thought I needed to get away from the exhaust manifold. I have the 1 7/8 pipe now and thought the X-flow would breath and run better with a larger exhaust. Maybe a 2 or 2 1/4? What did they come out new with?
