Ford 255 V8 pistons on an OZ 250 2V?

As per subject line, is this a good idea? It seems to be on a 250 log block according to my research, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea in a 2V. If not, is there a better option? People seem to ward others off the HSC pistons for the 250 log head, but maybe those that advice doesn't work for the OZ head?

The US head and the Australia 250 2V head are virtually identical.
The only differences is the 250 2V has smaller valve stem diameters, and of course it has a detachable intake.

What pistons work for one will work for the other.

Does that include chamber size?
