I picked up a 76DA blocked engine, and I have the bellhousing, but I didn't snag the clutch fork and didn't think much of it.
Well I should have. I am using a 66 Bronco clutch fork and it just has to be too long, the throwout bearing is off to the right of center.
The Bronco has a 146 tooth or so flywheel, it was behind a US 170 six. That is the clutch fork I was trying to use.
Is there a US application with a clutch fork that would work? Maybe a 65 mustang or something?
Rocklord, can you measure a clutch fork, if you can find it, I think you'd have one laying around?? Maybe from the "crease" where it rides on the bellhousing tab to the end where the throwout bearing mounts?
