Hello everyone!

Post #1 by that_slow83 » Wed Jun 13, 2018 7:50 pm

Hello,
I'm new to this website. Hopefully I can learn all about these great engines here, for future reference when I decide to rebuild my 300.
I drive a 1983 Ford F-150, 300 inline six, 4spd on the floor, 4wd. It's a real good truck and while the engine needs some TLC, I have been impressed at the torque and it gets good mileage for a truck!

Welcome to the best Ford Six site for info and knowledgeable people on the 240 / 300 big six'es. Good luck on your 83 F150 pickup.
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
