Greetings from central Virginia,
I found the site after internet surfing looking for 6 lug wheels for my 56 F350 with a Boyertown body. It has a completely shop 223 so its getting a period correct 272 and T98. I also have a 56 F100 with a Boyertown body also with a complete 223 and 3 speed that is staying stock.

Surfing the web looking for ways others had improved/modified their engines as I start thinking of what improvements I want to make to the motor in my wife's '67 Mustang.

I feel like I'm tied to a chair :| Yesterday, I "sent" a lengthy PM to a board member (it let me type, and appeared to send). Today, I see nothin in either my Sent folder or Outbox or Drafts. I just tried to PM a moderator to ask about this, and it tells me I don't have sufficient rights to send a PM... weird since, 1) how am I supposed to contact a mod about anything at all, and 2) it pretended to let me send last night. I'm new to this board, but not new to message boards... or computing.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Nasty looks?

Just go with the flow.
Other forums do not even let you sell anything till you have 50 posts.
Other forums do not let you edit your own post after 5 minutes.
Just make a post & if it within forum rules it will be approved very shortly.
If you feel your post is not approved, email me @ billythedistributorman@live.com
After you get 5 posts you are ready to rock & roll.
Make your posts in the section of the forum you have a question or want to make a response.
Welcome. Bill

Welcome to the Ford Six forums! X2 yes our site policy was setup so that new members only needed to have a minimum of 5 posts be approved before you could do any PM's. This was instuted by "AzCoupe" the pervious site owner to protect all the site members from the attack of spamers we were having to deal with and it has worked quite well. Remember it's not personal, you only need three more posts to reach that goal, so maybe make a few more posts in the forum covering your interest like the 240/ 300 Big Ford Six forum see below link. So don't give up it's fairly easy to get to the minimum 5 posts in as little as a day or two so you can PM. Good luck.  Edited

I found your site after being a member of the Ford Truck Enthusiasts website for a number of years.

In the portion concerning performance and mods to the 300 I6, a mention of your site was named and linked.
I came by and started browsing and found a hefty wealth of knowledge.

Figured Id pull up a chair and see what else y'all had to offer.

So, here I am.

I spent about 20 min looking for build advice and FordSix showed up about 5 times. So I deduced by my powers of reasoning that this would be a good place to start my build knowledge process.
I like a big 6 and I can not lie.
