Greetings from Lake Tahoe

Post #1 by Tahoe65 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 6:49 pm

Super excited to join this forum.

I am the owner of a 1965 Falcon two door. I’ve owned it for two years now it’s my second Falcon. My first was 64 1/2 Sprint with the 260. She is all stock with 60k on the odor and a really bad paint job (auto paint applied with a brush!) it looks great from 25 feet. I plan on keeping the original feel to her. Her motor runs well and been daily driving it here at Lake Tahoe.

I’ve owned a few V-8 Mustangs over the years and built several small blocks but this is my first inline 6. This old bird has the 200 I6 and I’m excited to build a new power plant. I recently purchased a donor heart and transmission from a 1966 Mustang and am going to build a mild to mid performance power plant this winter. I’ve been lurking on this forum for a while and just joined, thank you. Looking forward to sharing this project and utilizing all the amazing knowledge of the I6 shared here.

This is a photo of the car the day I bought it and the “new” motor I’m using for the build.

A big welcome to the best Ford Six site Tahoe65, sounds like you have a plan in the making! Good luck on your build up
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
