New guy introduction

Post #1 by poweredbyford » Sun Nov 05, 2017 10:44 am

Hello!

My name is Jason, I'm a prototype transmission technician at Ford ATNPC in Livonia, MI. Married, have two sons.

My first car was a triple green 1979 Granada I inherited from my aunt that had a 250/FMX combo. I got it just before I was legal to drive, and got rid of it when I was about 17 as I took over my dad's then semi new Escort GT.

I don't currently have a Ford six powered vehicle (daily is a '16 Escape 2.0), but we do have an '87 Mustang LX with a 5.0/T5. I'm looking a a couple potential projects, both have 200/C4 combos. Brushing up on all that I've missed out on in the almost 30 years since I got that Granada. ;)

I'm mostly a lurker, but if I see anything I can answer, I'll chime in.

Thanks!

jk

Welcome to the Best Ford Six Site Jason, there is always room for another knowageable person and six enthusiast. Keep us posted if you pickup a new six project. Good luck
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
