New Guy in AR

Post #1 by chevyconvert » Sun Dec 31, 2017 6:35 pm

Hello everyone,
I've had a thing for inline 6s since I started driving but I've only owned 3 so far. I've had a chevy 250 i6 in an 83 long bed and I've had a 94 F150 with 4.9 that had the m5od behind it. Recently I bought an 85 f150 with a 300 in it and somewhere along its life time someone put a 3.03 3 speed trans with a cheap floor shift conversion in it.
I've been getting a lot of good info from this forum by way of Google so I figured I'd go ahead and register so I could ask some questions that I can't find an answer to. I'm looking forward to getting some advice and maybe passing along some things I might experience to help someone else.

Welcome chevyconvert to the very best Ford Six site, we have some very knowledgeable people and info. Good luck on your pickup project.
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
