Almost change of wardrobe time

Post #1 by woodbutcher » Fri May 11, 2018 11:15 pm

 On wensday.Coming home that morning the rim of my steering wheel came loose from two of the spokes(after market wheel). It was at least 15 years old.Welds(if .you could call them that). They were about 1/8" wide, and barely contacting the rim of the wheel.Soooooooooo,if you are using an aftermarket wheel,if possible, check the welds. The wheel that I have is repairable, and when I have the time I will take the wood off and get it miged or tiged.Just glad I had just dropped off my friend coming home from the grocery store. She for sure would have wet herself.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
