Link doesn't work.
I put a nv 3550 in a 71 highboy,FE.It blew a 6"hole in the case doing 50 mph on level road.
Replaced with a nv 5500.Works great, gets better mileage, plays in the dirt well .Seems like it'll handle the torque.
maybe a 250 won't blow it up.Maybe the divorced transfer is the difference?
