Hello everybody, I've been mentally going over what I need for my car tonight and I've been beating my head against a wall. I need a new pitman arm and all I can find are manual steering ones. I can't seem to find a power steering arm to save my life. Any suggestions? I'm really new to the ford platform.
Thanks All!

A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!
I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone!
1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

Thank you for that suggestion! I just can't imagine that there is no sub for this.

Argh... no dice. Apparently a 1975 granada never had power steering according to the internet. I can find maverick, comet, ranchero's but no granada. Was it that expensive an option back then?

Re: 75 Granada pitman arm
Now here's a weird thing... I found this:
http://www.syd.com.mx/index.php?ver=cat ... idioma=eng
Which says Granada from 1975 to 1980 with no mention of ms or ps except for certain models of mustang. But if you go by it's newer number:
https://darchassisparts.com/catalog/pro ... tegory/81/
Some places say the same, but on ebay every one says it's for manual steering.
Any ideas? Or should I order and hope for the best?

Re: 75 Granada pitman arm
I'm pretty sure that pitman arm is for a manual steering application only because it has the built-in ball joint. Power steering cars were really power assisted, so the pitman arm on the power steering cars had a tapered hole instead of the ball joint. See the box below as an example:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/ATTENTION-RAT-RODDERS-1976-Ford-Granada-Steering-Gearbox/142659376617?hash=item21372955e9:g:xYcAAOSwqaJaUjQB
I think the reason no one sells a repro power pitman arm is there is nothing to wear out- so if you don't have one at all you need to get one from a wrecking yard or something.

Re: 75 Granada pitman arm
Wow I feel a bit stupid. Thanks for all the answers! I swung wrenches for Volvo so I'm used to rack and pinion, not fords version. It looks like the steering control valve ball stud bushing is worn out. I'm thinking of getting a kit for it but I've seen a lot of warnings against using them. Sorry for the crappy pic... I need a better light for my camera.

Sorry about the double post... I'm getting a HTTP error when I try to upload another pic. Here's the wear.

Re: 75 Granada pitman arm
This power asst. system has been used on many Fords in the past as far back as the 1950's. Having rebuilt a few of these control valves over the years if you can find a good quality rebuild kit like from NAPA or Ford you should be ok. Good luck
