Alignment after lower ball joint replacement?

Post #1 by StarDiero75 » Tue Dec 11, 2018 2:17 am

Howdy guys,

My ball joint from RockAuto is failing within about a year, wonderful. Im gonna replace it with a nice one from NAPA. My only question is, do i need to do an alignment afterwards? This will only be the lower passenger side one. I really don't want to but if need be I will. This is a daily 65 Ranchero that does get up on the highway semi frequently.

Thanks a lot,
Ryan

Hi, since you are not really changing anything that has to do with the alignment you will not need to do an alignment.
You don't need to loosen the tie rod sleeve so it will be as it was before.
Good luck
B RON CO. Still workin' on it!
