Thanks for the props. Now if I could just get the car to leave on the trans brake instead of just flat footing it! I normally 60 ft that 1.66 in the dirt with the brake. Boy it was fun to play on the asphalt! I love the water box!

I would be scared to know what my 300 runs in the 1\4....

I clocked it to 60 the other day....13 seconds :P

My 83 Ran it in like 9.....course it had a 4sp and 4.11's.

heck even the dually pulls it off in 11.

Fastest thing i own.....69 Charger R\T 13.5@98MPH. 440 Big block\4sp.

Or do you only want 6 cyl times?
300's are known for that. Even running on 3 cylinders upside down without oil or coolant they'll still pull a locomotive up a hill, albeit at 5 mph..... OK so maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea....
My times are HORRID, near embarrasing for all that ive done, but I blame the stock open rear end and 2.73 gears LOL These are all with the 200 with forged .060 pistons, 274 cam, buick GN turbo and Quick Fuel 2300 2 barrel. The 1/8 mile time was on 10psi and the 1/4 time was after I got tired of runnin so slow and cranked it to 14psi.

Best run down the 1/8 mile track
60ft--------2.3789
330ft-------6.4319
594ft-------9.1458
1/8 ET-----9.7599
1/8 MPH---73.28

Best run down the 1/4 mile track
60ft--------2.397
330ft-------6.400
594ft-------x
1/8 ET------9.612
1/8 MPH---76.14

Man Gene, you and Crosley are neck & neck!

I wonder who runs out to the local speed shop and picks up a "Sneaky Pete"?

See ya both on Friday and Saturday!
We'll try and save ya some pit space....but no guarentees!

Later,
Will

i should be out there saturday.

My falcon ran in the 16.30s on the 3 runs last weekend. 16.35 , 16.38 , 16.32... I had hoped it would pick up a bit more with the 2 barrel on it..

On the flip side; with the 2 barrel carb adapted onto the 1 barrel log manifold is like stuffing 10 pounds of stuff through a 5 pound hole.

I still have not messed with the OE dizzy advance curve yet.
