I have a '61 Ranchero Falcon and am about to do some work for a guy who has three Econolines...one I am cutting panels from to repair his driver...the donor truck is a '67 heavy duty and has a very stout 9" and I am looking for another rear axle for my Ranchero...as I looked under both trucks the frames look to be the same distance apart...will this 9" bolt into my '61?...I am asking you guys cuz I have had no luck on locating any tech info like track width and such.

What kind of axle ratios did the E trucks come with?

The Econo rear end is a bunch wider. Almost 6" total I think.
It won't be a bolt in. You could always shorten it!
