I've followed that $50 paint job on a budget thread on Mopar for several years now, it's very entertaining :D

You are looking good there. I've been meaning to try this out on something, the nooks and crannies stuff has me thinking spray gun.

I've used the rusteoluem products on a lot of stuff, painting on irrigation pipes etc. It works very well, however it will fade and look miserable in about 3-4 years of Fresno sun. I've never tried to wax it. In any case, you will feel a LOT better driving it now than as an old beater white truck

the nooks and crannies were a concerne with me too but it was very easy to get a cheap foam brush in there. you just have to be sure to catch the runs as the foam brush will leave alot of paint behind if you are reckless.
