does10,

I recently put in an order prior to reading the forums. After reading them, sounds like the site owner has passed on, my condolences to all the board members. I joined the site so that I could get some information on the order I placed. I would like to get in touch with you, does10, since it seems like you're handling things until they are figured out. Please email me at servicestationa2z@gmail.com

Thank you.

Just returned to the forum after a while and really sorry to hear about the loss of AZcoupe. The man was a wealth of useful information and really knew his stuff about these old ford inline sixes. Glad we looked a the forum before we tried sending an order to the classic inlines site. One more post then on to contacting Does10 to see about maybe getting some parts.

Did that header fit alright, it looks really similar to the CI Header, and thats an item I am really interested in acquiring.

I looked at Speed Daddy's website and they list no headers for 1965 Mustang 200 ci engine and their Falcon headers were listed as not compatible with the Mustang.

raexcct2,
I can't/wont address the mustang/falcon commonalities,but I think they'll fit Within the past month,I ordered 2 more and installed them on a
65 falcon van with a 250 and an AOD as well as a 73 maverick with a 250 and AOD.I have seen parts prices differ greatly when mustang is mentioned.Maybe the guys at the mustang corral can answer that,I swore off mustangs since I folded a 66 in half with a 428.

Classic Inlines site

Post #60 by chad » Sun Jul 31, 2016 9:13 am

Now the CI site "is down".

@ least it will 'not allow entry' w/o 'authentication'.
I have not downloaded all the tech info there
but
today I wanted to look at some parts to see if they matched up with another company & couldn't "get on".

Any ideas how to access all that good info?

Maybe the guy that bought the Classic Inlines inventory also bought the rights to the Web site. I downloaded some of the information but I hadn't downloaded all the information I needed. Went to check today and got the same message that user id and password required.

"...guy that bought the Classic Inlines inventory also bought…"
No, Vintage Inlines is retail (Matt), not the CI site.
Perry (above) is assisting with our site.

WIsh I could access CI right now - in the middle of a build & could use CI catalogue pic / tech pages.

Nobody on this web forum is connected to the Classic Inlines web parts store. After Mike's death, his family walked away from the automotive parts, web site, tech information.

Has anyone copied all the tech data from the Classic Inlines web site or has all that info been lost?

Wish I had copied all the tech data but other hobbies always seem to take up my time.

Some one copied the data or most of it.

There are other hobbies?

Oh yeah. FN FAL'S are just as addicting as Mustangs.

If anyone has a copy of the Classic Inlines tech data and catalog, I would gladly pay for a DVD of the information.

again, Perry seems to be supplying much of the effort

Perry is Admin. A few folks worked with Perry & salvaged - moved- updated this web forum. They were working on capture of the tech information from CL web site.

No one here on this FordSix forum has access to the CL web site. Mike died & The family was not interested in the CL web site or parts bizness. The CL web site provider will not talk to any non family members about that web site. Really sad. I liked Mike and considered him a friend. Mike helped me a great deal on my Falcon engine build

That sucks. I don't understand the web site provider not talking to non family members who want to keep the information available.

Has anyone offered to pay to keep the web site back up to be archived. Can't understand how a Web business is not interested in getting paid.

a Death Certificate has been used in the past for access when the orig CC numbers have been unavailable…

B nice to continue paying the fee to have access to that site/info (pic of parts 2 ID orig. vendors, quality, etc / tech pages for ref. & add new members here)
Shall we design a structure to collect contributions to keep that site afloat
AND
destroy the "take yer bucks but not send U parts" problem ? (see Subject Line above).

Like to not loose either 1/2 of the CI site...

I'd be willing to donate some to help keep the website going. How much would it take?
