Today, just fired up engine and broke cam in. A lot of little thing to finish off wiring, a/c hoses, and get custom made exhaust.. Have to get it Inspected and go from there. My intention, when I get 1000 plus miles on engine, will have it Dyno'ed to post numbers for Mike and the members on forum... IT WILL BE AWHILE. Alot more work plus breaking it in, but making progress.. THis is used for the street only.. Here is some photos and specs on engine.

1966 Ford Mustang new rebuilt 200 6 cylinder dual pattern block
Bell housing 9 inch clutch
Tremec t-5 transmission overdrive gear changed to .73
7.25 rear axle 3.23 ratio /// soon to be 4 lug 8 inch rear axle (in the shed waiting) undecided on ratio, will drive 7.25 with 3.23 and decide what ratio to use when I rebuild 8 inch axle
CIassic inline's aluminum cylinder head
CI headers Y piped into single exhaust. 2.25 exhaust will be installed.
CI high performance balancer
CI High performance 7 qt. oil pan
DUI distributor
Crankshaft was fully balanced with flywheel pressure plate and balancer installed.
1.5 shaft adjustable rockers, maybe later 1.6 roller rockers...
Block was decked subtantial amount but not zero decked. and head milled .025 slightly to achieve 9.5 C/R Machine shop estimated this and feels accurate. could be more or less, in my opinion.
cylinders bored .030
custom grind competition cam there new extreme energy series camshaft .206/212 .434/.444 lift 112 lsa comp cams. Degreed at 107
edelbrock AVS thunder series 4 bbl carburetor 500cfm
10 inch wide, 2 inch high chrome top air filter might k/n 10 inch k/n air filter

Headers "y" into a 2.25 exhaust with a super turbo dynomax muffler Sounds great... Like a V-8 LOL

Another one of Mike's Alum heads coming to life...

That looks like a well thought out combo, I will be real curious what that cam does on the dyno, it should do well with a little boost later if you choose, very nice, I like it!!!

Got a 100 miles on the new engine. All I can say is wow. This car gets up to speed in a hurry. I wish I had numbers to prove what I am feeling with this car. This engine is operating at a whole different level then before. I am very happy with this engine. Hopefully I will get this dyno'ed when it is fully broken in 3 plus months. The Edelbrock carb with the extreme energy series comp cam and DUI, and the main Ingredient Mike's alum head, makes it all come together. Thanks Mike, this was alot of fun putting together.

Here is the final photos...

Great to hear it. I'm sure that I am not the only one looking forward to seeing the results of the dyno run. (y)
