Greetings Ford Six Fans,

Don't know about the stock configurations for the 144-170-200, but my 250 originally came with "lifting lugs" (flat pieces of maybe 1/8" steel, with round holes that can be used to fasten a hook for lifting the engine). One was mounted at the very front of the driver's side, using two bolts into a boss cast on the side of the block, and I can still use that one. The second one was mounted on the passenger side towards the rear, to the original log head, which I am no longer using.

For those of you who have preferred to assemble your engine as much as possible before installing it into the chassis, what did you use for an attachment point on the passenger side?

Thanks
Bob
