Engine not performing right after gutting cat

Post #1 by _fj0rd » Mon Feb 10, 2020 2:48 pm

Gutted my cat last week, no mufflers either but now my truck down on power and sounds strangely quiet, running lean possibly. 1996 F150 (EFI of course) just looking to see how I can fix this. I've heard about using spark plug defoulers to trick the o2 sensor but I don't think that would change my engine performance. Thanks in advance guys!

Nevermind, I'm an idiot. Filled up the tank and the issue fixed itself. Just being paranoid. :D
