DS or TFI module?

well I picked up a remote mount TFI setup over the weekend (heatsink block with TFI and pigtail on it) thinking of using it on my duraspark setup for the time being (smaller easier to mount easier to find replacements)

but does the TFI mod put out more? or will I need the TFI mod to really see any improvment?

It is the coil that makes the hotter spark, not the module. The TFI coil is definitely superior to the DS2 coil but it also draws more current than the DS2 module was intended for although some have reported using the TFI coil on the DS2 module.
