Fuel pressure under boost

Post #1 by 62Cometman » Sat Dec 02, 2017 5:22 pm

Hey guys i was looking at possibly trying a triple escort fuel injection style setup on a 200 with some boost for fun but was thinking if i ran low boost numbers like under 10psi would i be able to get away with running a higher pressure into the injectors to keep them operating under pressure like normal? I.E. running 25-30 psi fuel pressure to the injectors to keep them 12-14 under boost, however could this cause a leaking issue during idle / low boost conditions? maybe im over thinking
1962 Mercury Comet 170 ci, Dagenham Trans, 2.83:1 7.25 rear.
She ain't fast but she's fun. 8)
