New wiring no headlight switch?

Post #1 by papawfalcon » Wed Jul 26, 2017 10:57 pm

I am in the process of putting aftermarket wiring in my Ranchero. What I would like to do is eliminate the headlight switch and run the headlights off of the ignition switch so on with ignition like new cars? Can this be done my headlight wiring has relay? Thanks!

Sure it can be done! All you need is for power to come from the ignistion switch (in the run position) to trigger your headlite relay. Good luck

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
