this is what I have installed ... Borg & Warner Conversion Kit ...

the dizzy is two years old , ( had too replace after purchased car - oil up in the original dizzy ) , and the coil is a Super Stock Coil about one year old . I drove the Falcon back to the homestead and let it cool down and went back out too check for loose wires or nuts/bolts . It started up and then spit and sputtered and shut off . Now it will not run . it turns over but sounds like it is not synchronized ! I have had it misfiring before 8-19 and could not track it down until I changed out the module ! I am sure that it might be the cause again ! I need something else to command the Falcon !

This maybe the culprit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:hmmm: Borg Warner parts should last longer than that, it Looks like a copy of a Mopar ignistion box! I ran one on my Olds 425 V8 for decades (1976 to 2014) without a failure mine was a stock 1970's Mopar Chrome box. Good luck

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

This is the second one in a year and a half ! I would think it would last a lot longer too !

Hi, I would disconnect the tach for now. I have seen a bad tach play havoc with the ignition system more then once. Good luck

So Sunday I went out too warm the Falcon up and she would not fire off ! After about ten minutes of trying , I took off the current module and replaced it with a new one and she fired right up ! WHAT GIVES ! ANYBODY HAVE A IDEA WHAT IS KILLING THE MODULES ?
And the Tachometer did not act crazy at all ! :bang: I am changing over too Ignitor2 next week ! hoping my car does not kill it so quickly ! I am also wanting too start on my Aussie 250 2V build . need too piece together block parts I don't have .

Is there a good ground going to the Modules mounting base as well as the cars body and chassis having good grounds too? If you going to change ignistions you might consider a DuraSpark II. Good luck
