indoor/outdoor thermometer

Post #1 by ludwig » Sun Jul 17, 2016 4:35 pm

My new truck doesn't have a clock or thermometer. I have looked at several on line and most of them need the cigarette lighter for power. Most come from China and sell for about $2. Hmmm. Not quite what I wanted.

Does anyone know who makes a good one that senses outdoor temps? I don't want to snake some extra wire around the edge of the door and tack the sensor somewhere.

Suggestions? I've looked at JC Whitney and Summit. Not quite the items I want.

A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

Absolutely. Thanks. Have to figure out how to mount it, but that is very close to what I was looking for.

Iowa80, hunh? The interstate through my hometown of Des Moines.
