Window Regulator ?s

Post #1 by Eff1 Shifty » Mon Apr 24, 2017 4:23 pm

Hello, I'm about to replace my window regulators on my 90 f150. So the old motors are out and long gone. So now I'm wondering when installing the new ones, should the window be all the way up or down? Or does it even matter? Also what grease would you guys recommend for the window tracks?

Hi, When I work on door glass I use a large suction cup to hold the glass in place, about 3/4 of the way up. Sometimes I have to slide the glass up or down to get the bushings in the track. Some glass has mounting holes. I don't know about yours. I use white grease on the mo ving parts. Good luck
