Changing input shaft length from 94 T-5

Post #1 by 65andonly18 » Thu Sep 16, 2010 7:41 pm

Hi guys still missing my t5 for my swap and i just found this one on ebay that happens to be in Oregon and also the cheapest one in oregon. The problem is its a 94 5.0. I read that those have the longer input shafts which is why usually the mid 80's early 90's are the best for our cars. But because of the price im very interested to know if i could just change the input shaft size to a early WC input shaft? Thank you and i too must apologize ive seen that alot of T5 questions have been coming up lately but couldnt find any about later model. Thank you.

The ’94-95 Mustang T5 had a 0.67" longer input shaft & uses a unique bellhousing for the SN-95 platform. However, this input shaft can be swapped with an ’89-93 Mustang input shaft.
