Need Picture of manual Tranny mount

Post #1 by StarDiero75 » Fri Feb 23, 2018 2:04 am

Howdy guys!

So close to getting the Ranchero back on the road! I got the tranny in today and i seem to have forgotten how the tranny mount looks. I have the mount piece that bolts to the tranny, and the rubber bushing, but there is no way in heck that it looks the way i have it. I cant find a diagram in the 65 shop manual for it.

If you have a pic, please send it or a diagram.

This is a 65 Ranchero 200, 3 speed 3.03. Everytbing is stock, minus the 3.03, but i believe the support bracket and all is stock

Thanks guys!
Ryan

OEM was a unique "inline bolt" mount;

So after doing some reading, apparently im missing one of the cantilever springs. I only have the bent one, not the straight one. But i took it off and only had one of the springs, is that normal?

Yes the normal stock Falcon cantilever spring mount looks like mustang 6's above post in the "center" or second picture. Good luck :thumbup: :nod:
