Does anyone know what the spring perch width is on a 1961 Falcon?

I should have specified. What’s the width from spring perch to spring perch?

:hmmm: It should be 42 and 3/4 inches center to center however to double check that find the center point of your front spring perches and measure that distance too. Good luck  :hmmm:

I’m swapping in a Mustang 8.8 and was hoping to get the perches welded on before pulling the old 7.25

Check your wheel to wheel measurement. I think the stang is to wide. I used an explorer rear axle and narrowed it to use passenger axle shafts only a 1/2" total width wider. And you get disc brakes to boot, if you use a 95+ axle. 94_ is drum. This is for use in a 61 chero.

Yeah I measured and it’s going to be really close. I have 1.25 wheel spacers on now. The 7.25 with 1.25 wheel spacers should be the same width as the stock mustang axle.
