Fluid leak

Fluid leak
I have a brake fluid leak where line goes in to master cyl. Have changed master cyl but line goes all the way in and still leaks looks like I am missing some thing am I thinking wrong an if so what

Hi, you are not missing any parts, and the double flare looks OK. I don't know why it would leak. Do you think you are tightening it enough? Good luck

Thanks will have to check out more it screws all the way in like fitting is all most in side of master cyl and it finely tightens down but still leaks

A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!
I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone!
1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone!

Thanks I thought so and was this way when I bought car has never had good brakes

Hi, I will agree with Bubba. My 66 Mustang fruit jar has no adapter. I also don't have a port for the brake light switch. You can tell if the female port is double flare if there is a round bump which mates with the flare shape of the tube. My big mistake was thinking the flare threads were different from other threads and would not screw together. Good luck
