2005 16'' Mustang wheels on 1962 Ranchero?
Is there anybody running 2005 16'' Mustang wheels? I have a '62 Ranchero with a '63 1/2 8in rear end. The tires on the wheels are 235/55/16. Yes they are to big. I fit them under the car (as best as I could). The tire hit on the leaf spring. But from what I could tell I think I only need a 1/2 in spacer to make the rims work. Is anyboby run these rim to know if I am right? My reading I get that it needs to be one inch space.

I bought 1'' spacers and the rims fit! Tire still a little big rubs on inner fender so 215 or225 would work better. Love these rims!!!

Did you roll the fender lips on your Ranchero also do you have any pictures of the wheels on it now? Good luck

A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!
I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone!
