Ford 380878-S firewall plug

Post #1 by 1971_F250 » Sun Sep 10, 2017 2:43 am

Hi all,

I'm after a firewall plug 380878-S to replace my hardened one on my 1971 F250. I google it and so far 390581-S firewall plug is the closest one i can found. It's also fit the 71 f series according to the description. Just wondering is it any difference to these two plugs and will the 390581-S fit the hole perfectly.

:hmmm: Yes Part # 390581-S "the oval firewall plug" is suppose to fit years 1967 to 1977 F100 to F350 series Ford trucks

Good luck
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
