63 hood on 60 falcon?

will a 63 hood fit on a 60 falcon, i found a cheep fiberglass hood id like to buy
60 ford ranchero 200 tri power, modified c4 trans, performance ds2 distributor, msd 6, 3 stage retard, weber ict's, 8" rear end with spool, 3.40 gears, CI dual out header, Flowmaster, 90hp wet nitrous kit.

:hmmm: It will go on but I am not sure about how the front edge will line up right, since they have a different grills and front fender shapes on the 62-63's. The 62 & 63 fenders come to point i.e. a sides V shape.
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

I have seen where people have bolted on the complete 1962 or 63 front clips on the early Falcons, but then you would need all the fenders and other parts too.

I put a 63 hood on my 61 ranchero once, and it was the same shape but was a few inches short in the front where it rolls down over the top of the grille. I'd like to find another one so I could weld my front lip onto it so i could have that big chrome scoop trim.
