Can anybody tell me a good brand name /company that makes repair body panels. I ordered a set of cab corners local to me for my 86 f150. Just got them and wow what crap. not even straight body lines. I bet 5/16's of a inch off from my original corners I cut out. body lines just don't line up . So If someone can help with a good brand of auto body Panels I would be grateful...

body panel help
Moderator: Mod Squad
Re: body panel help
I haven't welded them in yet, but I bought a pair of wheel arch repair and passenger cab corner panels for my old crew cab from a company called
Tabco
The body lines seem to fit together nicely.

Re: body panel help
Thanks for the help. It just seems difficult to find quality parts in the after market. I ended up buying a 2nd pair of cab corners from LMC truck. even those didn't find great. So ended up modding the patch corners . Lot more work than I had planned on. Not to mention I am far from a expert at body work on cars or trucks. At least getting them to look show room perfect . Had some metal shrinkage . But hammered and Dollie best I could . But not building a "show truck" just want a nice solid overall truck/slo-rod.... If I could fit my truck in my garage I would but then my bikes and tools, presses, compressor would need to be outta there for room to work. Running out of nice weather shortly in nh. So priorities getting done before winter .
Thanks again for the reply I saved the tabco name for time to try
