71 comet armrest pads

Post #1 by blumpkin71 » Thu Oct 26, 2017 3:50 pm

So I have been searching online for original interior colors for my wife's 71 comet and can't find any info on it. I bought the car with missing armrest pads. The interiors is like a green and tan. Was told it was all original. Anyone know where I can get my hands on a pair?

Does the 1971 Comet still have its orginal door data tag? If so list the build info here and I can I'd the color for you. As far as getting a pair they will be the same part number for the pads and colors as were used on the Ford Mavericks. You might post your wants in the Wanted Section below and the Small Six for sale, and the Misc. sections. Sometimes NOS parts can be found or maybe some used ones in good condistion in a different color in that case you can use some good spray dye to color match them to your interior. Good luck in the hunt.

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
