AZ MEMBERS: 3.0 ratio 6 cylinder rear axle for 63 Falcon Wagon

Post #1 by pikesan » Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:00 pm

Looking in AZ or for pickup in SoCal. Probably not worth shipping?

I have a 3.5 in my wagon that's leaking from the pinion seal. After going to a T5 with a LOW 1st gear, I'd like to change to a 3.0 final drive. Anyone got one they're not using?
Thank you!

You might want to look for an 8-inch out of an early 6 cyl Maverick.
They were 4-lug and usually came with a 2.79 or 3.00 ratio.

Thanks rocklord, I got the same advice from a friend. I've found one now.. just need to make the deal. It's a 3.08 so should be perfect.

Thanks!
