Holley Part # 0-1865-1 Model 4160 465 CFM 4V Carb

Post #1 by bubba22349 » Thu Sep 10, 2020 4:20 pm

Due to mounting Heath issues have recently come to the realization that I probally won't be physically able to work on car projects much longer, so will be selling off all my remaining Auto Motive related Parts Tools and Equipment so my wife and daughters won't have to deal with all of it. If you are looking for something let me know.

I am putting this Holley Part # 0-1865-1 Model 4160 465 CFM 4V Carb up for sale. This is a really clean carb that's still looks like new its been stored inside my Shop. The 465 is a good size carb for use on a performance built 200 or 250 Small Six using the C.I. Or V.I. Aluminum head with a single 4V intake. Asking $250.00 this price includes set of Holley jets (Strip Kit), Holley secondary spring kit, carb base gaskets and a couple of Holley carb spacers. Free pick up at my shop in Flagstaff Az, or you will need to add the actual cost of your preferred type shipping to your location.
Even a bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

Current project is a 1988 John Deere 420 Garden Tractor I need a few small parts to get it fixed, plus some cosmetic items, maybe a few attachments, if you happen to have or know of JD 420 parts would welcome the help!

My Ex-Inline 6 Fleet 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

Are you OK Bubba? I haven't seen you post anything in a few days. You are always helping people & answering their questions & explaining things. I haven't seen you answer any questions or post anything lately. Hope you are OK. I will pray for you my brother.

HI Darrell, I haven't been feeling very good for awhile now, 2 years ago started noticeing my energy level, strength, and health were changing. Told my Doctor at the V.A. about it but nothing was done at that time a year later I ended up in the ER. In December they sent me to a local cardiologist to have tests they also did a couple minor procedures I was hopeing It would help me feel better it did a little for a short time. Labs and a Scan 6 weeks ago lead to me being sent to another doctor this last Friday who is wanting a couple more tests hopefully will know something soon. Thank you for kindness and prayers I do appreciate it, Robert

Thank you for your service to our country my friend. I pray the VA will follow through like they should & take care of you. May our Heavenly Father watch over you, protect you & heal you. You are a great asset to this website. I always look forward to your advice & commentary on problems that our fellow sixer friends are having. You are an inspiration to me & usually a highlight of my day too. Even though I don't post very often, I've been a member of this forum since 1998 when it was still part of Clifford Research before it split off. It has gone through a number of changes & hacks too, but is still one of the best forums that exists. I check on it and read from it multiple times per day, every day. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to meet Mike Winterboer at a car show at Knots Berry Farm years ago. Met some other fellow sixers too & had a great time. This was even before the new cylinder head. I have serial number 9 on a built up 200 ready, finally to go in my 1980 Foxbody Mustang with a t5 trans & 4:10 gears. I had the engine rebuilt last year after saving my money for a while. It originally had a 200 6 cylinder and a SROD 4 speed. Can't wait to fire it up & drive it! Well, I'll quit babbling on and go now. You hang in there and just keep on pushing forward buddy.

Thank you Darrell, yes it sure seems like things are happening fairly quickly now, had a chest XRay and Scan on Wednesday afternoon, a Lab & Cov-19 test yesterday afternoon. Another lab set for Tuesday morning, EKG will need to be sometime soon too, will be going in early on Friday morning for the procedure.

Wow you have been on the site a long time! Though I have been into the six'es and racing a 223 in the mid 1960's. I got to meet Ak Miller and see his shop also K Sissel's shop was very close to were I grew up along with severial others, like TransGo, Evans Speed Shop, Blairs Speed Shop, Jack Beir racing engines, Art Carr, Russ Davis Ford and many more. I never got to meet Jack Cillford but sure knew who he was and often seen all the cars running his parts at the Drags like Irwindale, Lions, Fontana, and later Organe County. Always got a kick out of how Ford hired Jack to tow out to Cailf with his Hudson Hornet to enter in the Pomona Winter Nationals (I think this was in 1964) spicily to take out a certain Corvette so that one of Fords factory racers could win his class race. I didn't discover the Ford Six site until 2008 as a guest wish I would have known about it much sooner, after I decided to join it still took me 6 to 9 months to get accepted back then. Before that was on the HAM & Ford truck sites rarely go on them now and I agree this is one of the very best sites and by far has the mist info in one place. I used to go to Knots Berry Farm and had a lot of fun back in the day with my 1928 Model A, our club went as a group I also continued going each year for a few years after I got out of the Army in the 1970's until I moved to the Central Valley for a job.

That's one of my joys if I can be of any help passing on some knowledge or experience its kind of like a ministry to me. There are so many great members here on the site that share what they know that makes for such a good resource. Mike was very nice to me and at the last he even offered me one of the C.I. Heads I wasn't ready at that time and didn't realize that opportunity would be only for a short time. I so wish I would have took him up on it been regretting that decision ever since. Your 1980 Mustang is going to be a great combo, I been wanting to find a 1979 to 82 Mustang or Mercury Capri with the 200 six for a number of years they are quite hard to find now I even was going to try to piece togeater that combo from parts. Thank you again for your kindness. Robert
