Wanted: 4.9 EFI Lower Intake Manifold

Post #1 by Captainslow42 » Wed May 01, 2019 12:23 pm

Hey everyone, I am in the market for a used EFI intake manifold, to be used as the base for my IR weber manifold. PM me or post below if you have anything you'd part with. I've been looking around and the wreckers in my area no longer have stuff of that vintage, and I'm having no luck with the classifieds.

I have an un-machined lower casting. The advantage of starting with this - other than it is unused - is that the holes for the injectors are not machined. Therefore you would not have to make plugs for the holes and weld them up. That also means you can machine down the boss inside of the port exits to mate up with the head better. $125 plus shipping.

Those are plentiful in the local KC yards. Saw probably 10 of them last time. PM me if you want me to scoop one up next time
