1971 F-350 Flareside 4.9L

Post #1 by 350TXGOAT6 » Wed Sep 07, 2016 10:37 pm

I'd like to replace the tie rod assembly on a 1971 F-350 Flareside pickup. The I-beams and tie rods on this unit are larger and heavier than most. It's a 300 6cyl, 4-speed, 2WD, 6600 GVW. 135" wheelbase regular cab single rear wheel with a 9' pickup bed, all original build.
The (Moog) parts I find in some online listings and at my local auto parts store will NOT fit. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find the correct HD parts?

Try NAPA, good luck
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
