Josey (or Josie)
Her I6 was wrecked or sold, without one she didn't need to hang out here. She came around for a little bit while she owned a late model Z28

where would hospitality, an addo strong point, and SuperMags Town Square be without them. So Fingers and Steven know Addo is on the Aussie Renault forum, and I guess you'll have to look at a lot of refrigerators on the net to find the "to live bold, manly...this is the high life" fridge he had on his old website http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK_FMJ_Qomc

Both SuperMag and Addo found themselves squandering too much of their personal time in the virtual world. I had an e-mail correspondence with both and they each signed off with me personally. I really miss both of them.

Been a while, but I think that there were a couple times when we were in the same general area, but I think there might've been issues with my schedule, or I couldn't get ahold of her.

Not MY fault she doesn't show up anymore, I promise...

LazyJW (a misnomer if ever there was one!) is not only still here but has just posted a highly interesting long thread on "Puppy Linux," highly interesting to me because my new laptop with Windows 8 is such a godawful mess.

Al left for a number of reasons. As much as he talked about getting burned by members, he still owes me a large sum of money. We actually used to hang out as I was living 30 minutes away but we had a deal go south between us when he changed his mind but didn't want to compensate me for it as was part of our original agreement. Oh well. Its why I don't get involved with deals with friends or family that involve money anymore. Never ends well.

Hey, CS

I listen to Dave Ramsey off and on. Mr. "Cash is King", if you don't know him. He is a fundamental realist when it comes to money deals with friends or relatives. People call him all the time asking how to structure a deal with their kids, relatives or friends. He always says, "If you want to help them, just give them the money. If you "loan" it and it doesn't get repaid, it will change the relationship."

Too bad about the deals gone south. I lost some parts and never saw money at least two times with members here, maybe three. Now it's paypal only.

One time I sent the left over seat belts to a guy in Maine who was doing a full on restoration. He got them but I got no dough. The one that really burned me was when I shipped a stock exhaust manifold to some dude out east. He really really really needed a stock manifold and couldn't find one near him. I had a salvage one after I put on the headers and explained about the fact that it had a crack around the hot air intake for the choke but that it would close as soon as it heated up to running temp. He just had to reimburse me for the shipping.

I spent $35 packing and sending it to him. He got it, inspected it and said it wasn't good enough and wasn't going to pay for shipping. But if I wanted it back, I had to send him money for shipping. I didn't want to spend $70 total to throw it back behind the garage.

Sometimes you just can't do anybody any favors.

I have at home a set of Oz 250 motor mounts that Addo sent me. I merely mentioned that they looked like a combination of stock 250 motor mounts at the engine side and stock v8 brackets at the frame side and how I wondered if they fit, I thought they might be the holy grail to engine swaps (250).. About a month or so later, a box from Adam showed up on my doorstep. He never said he was going to send it, never asked if I wanted it, never took any deniro for shipping it.

Addo sent me the specs for shower basin installation in Australia. I was able to help him out with info about different kinds of building products he would be tested on but had never used.

SuperMag was just about to drive to Washington state to straighten out a pole barn project for one of the members here. Then he got it straightened out himself.

Good guys, all of them.

LOL. That's why everyone listed above were and are so cool. Addo especially could communicate peace, love and harmony, as well as mix and match it mentally. For me, it's really hard to respond with the energies of grace like he did. Especially after all the stuck I used to PM him...

I'm more like a Frank Zappa in an CNN interview going wrong.Anyway, your all stuck with me, I gotta an itch to scratch, and you guys are the "stash" to alleviate the patch.

X,

SuperMag withdrew because he felt that the F6F was keeping him from his real-world activities. Something about woman/job/life. Mostly the last two.

He wasn't bitter or angry. Just needed to change something.

Cobra,

I need to redo my webpage.

It was horribly out of date. I took it down in hopes that it would motivated me to start over from scratch. Just trying to learn a new webpage format to help clean it up and present it in a better format. Don't worry, it'll be back up. Got a lot of upgrades I want to document and review. Sadly, not much more I6 stuff, but still some goodies.

Regards,
Slade

This place has been good for that. I recall ordering a cam gear spacer off a guy in the truck forum. I got a valve seat insert in the mail. I wouldn't consider myself out $5 if I knew what engine it was for...

I've been 'around'...lurking in the Forums here & there. I still have a LOT of the Ford(and 'General & 'other-Make' Inline stuff...)Six Engines & SOME Parts(I've sold off a lot of 'small-stuff'....)I've had for years. Most importantly, I have reached my lifelong goal:-I now have 100-Cars  :!: . I'd just turned 50,1/19/14,so I decided to go on a little shopping spree. I bought 12 Cars/Trucks from Montana & in mid March,I bought 6 Cars(and some Sheetmetal..)out of Texas. I hope things are good on your end,Richie. Got $5.00 I can borrow :rolflmao:  ?? ~Steph/OO6.

You were always the emotional one. You remind me of I guy I knew in high school. We called him Chuckles. He got so mad when we did that.

Crap, did we summon you via eldritch forces?
I was a lot younger back then, it's to be expected.

Where is Seattle Smitty...

Team, did I scare him away by my snarly , harsh response over the demise of the Aussie Auto industry?. I tried to log his activity, but his details don't search. Last of him was 15 April here...viewtopic.php?f=90&t=71803

I'm sorry SS...For being arrogant....

Oh, I know where Boyd is. I saw him at Four Eyed Pride on 01-25-2015,
but Anlushac11 is gone, last visited Ford Six Fri May 17, 2013, FEP 06-11-2012, 02:49 AM.

He may have been Probed...

His Photobucket also shows he's got a new truck...looks like he's been on an Excursion...

Jimbo65 (discontined user with a very nice Gold 200 2v GT Replica, was into flims, and stared in a really cool warehouse video, where the partakers decided to race the the controllers office and photo copy there wares...I'll post the video with his mates sometime.
