'53 Packard flathead IL8

Does anyone know were I can get performance part for my 327 IL8 flathead. Specifically I'm looking for some sort of split intake to run dual carbs and possible headers. I have heard that Studebaker made the intakes and that they might fit the Packard engines, but nothing for sure. I'm also not sure where to get the Studebaker part either.

Not an answer per se, but have you visited inliners.org?

Maybe some knowledgeable types on that motor, over there.

Cheers, Adam.

In 1953, and possibly other years Packard offered a 354 (give or take 5 cubes) inline eight, with a four barrel carburetor. I don't know if it will fit your 327, but it sure would be cool if it would. It would be even better if you could find an original 354 four barrel motor. Good luck!

My brother used to own a 54 Packard with the 327. It had a two barrel carb on it factory stock.

Mine already has four barrel on it. What I'm looking for is a split intake manifold to run dual carbs.

Check your bore-spacing, then see if you can adapt a couple of manifolds from 4cyl Datsuns or something.
