The best fun will be going to a show with enclosed car trailer behind. Off loading the street hack ( so I can get about during the show ) and then unhooking the trailer so I can drive the truck into the show.

March 16th and time again to update.

Running boards painted with a body deadener ( gives ripple finish effect ) and color. The black strips are body moulding so you do not step on a painted surface.

What the front looks like at present.

Still a lot to do yet. ;)

Two of my mates helping me with the project have just surprised me by emailing me these photos. Taken on the 16th whilst I was not about.

If you turn this photo side on you can see the SOCK -sleeper cab rubber is now in place.

It seems to be coming along nicely now. You appear to be in the assembly stages. Are you finished with the fabrication work?

Also, what plans do you have for the interior of the cab and the sleeper cab?

Only small items to fabricate such as new mounts for the grille stainless steel etc.

I have two seats ready to fit back into the cab. Upholstery is about 90% done. Carpet etc to be fitted. Sleeper cab needs the Flat screen TV fitted along with speakers and AMP etc.

Still a lot to do but it is all happening.

Finaly took these old Split rims off the front.

Sorry it is a little dark ( ARTY ) but it puts the project in perspective.

I'm getting the distinct impression that you are moving ahead fairly quickly on this project now. I'm beginning to think you might have it on the road before the the season turns to winter there.

Well, no. It is Autumn / Fall here now. Have had some cool days so far but some days still good enough to be out in the Roadster. We do need rain. It does not snow where I am but a little further south of me they often get snow on the ranges.
