1960 Falcon 3 door wagon

Post #1 by 1963Comet » Tue Mar 29, 2016 9:24 pm

I have not posted in a long time, but I got great news today. I fell into a deal if the lifetime! Today I was given a 1960 3 door one owner wagon. It was purchased new in 1960 by a friends father, given to him when he turned 16. The car was parked in a barn in 1982 where it still sits. The best part of all is that the friend who gave it to me is going to deliver it! Can't wait!
Thanks
Larry

 I like those Tudor Falcon or Comet wagons too, their really getting hard to find now. Congrats
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

What do they say? "It'll buff out" :) Nice, clean 'er up and see what you got! Looking past its present condition I see a nice wagon!

WOW. Look what happens in 30 years when something sits. It reminds me a a TV show where the theme was imagine if all the people on Earth died and everything began to decay, after 10 or 20 or 30 years things start going south. I'm with Ronbo - give it a good bath and clear out the non-functioning interior parts and go from there. 3 on the tree!
