Anyone know the weight of a 226" Continental Hurricane I-6 (used in lots of Willys/Jeep trucks, and others)? For that matter, what does the Ford flathead I-6 weigh? TIA

I think I saw 580 pounds all up in a 75 Aniversary Ford book by Consumer Magazine.

slant six weights in at 500lbs and a hemi six(215/245/265)at about 440lb,my 265(now 277cu in)with alloy head,manifold and headers is at around 400lb(inlines--light weight and full of guts!!)
