Howdy guys,

PLEASE DONT MOVE THIS TO WANTED YET, I NEED PEOPLE TO SEE THIS

So i tried making an adapter plate for my car and it dont work right so im done with it. Im in the market now for a 200 from 66-79 that's running well enough that youd trust your kid to drive and cheap. Im 20 and broke. This is my daily and im literally screwed unless i get this squared away.
The block needs to be at least 66 b/c my setup requires the 9" flywheel

Ive called all the auto wreckers in the state and no one has one.

Im in Bremerton, WA, 14 miles west of Seattle

Thanks guys,
Ryan

Ive already checked my region, theres nothing in the whole state

not "state"... "region"
the quicker U want - the lrger the area U search, the higher the ship fee.

If you MUST have an engine look for 'eastern WA' or the "whole NW".

here's a '70 & '74 stang 200 (1 a core, nother short block) in ID:

That's a bummer. I tried to help you out with that listing with the 200 and the C4 down in your neck of the woods, then later the same listing with just the C4. I'll keep keeping my eye out and let you know if I see something. Good luck on the hunt.

i remember that too. But my dad talked me out of it an several others i saw b/c he thought it could be fixed without getting another engine

1st one's it. '68!

There's a couple in Spokane, they are kind of spendy though, probably b/c they both come with C4's

Also, I still have my Econoline 170/3.03 bellhousing if that will work for you.
That first one would work. I need a dual drilled or 9".
I still would need to get the 8.5" flywheel and clutch kit and change out my input shaft, which i aint attempting. The 200 is the easiest way to go

$500 isn't bad for the west coast. I have seen just the engine from $350 -$700. In the past they used to be free when people where doing engine swaps. But now. People have gotten smarter and charge $$. They know the 6's are getting harder to find.

I wish the spokane guy had a phone number on his ad. No one ever checks their email.

I took an ad out on craigslist and put a thing on the seattle Falcon Club of America facebook page.

That '68 is a dual pattern block. Your 9" flywheel and bell would work on it

https://spokane.craigslist.org/pts/d/or ... 37141.html

if you zoom way in on the photos of the back you can see the upper 2 bolt holes for 9"

The hoist chain is bolted into one of the holes.

The '65 200 is probably 8-1/2" only, like what you already have.

There again, you can probably sell off the C4 for a couple hundred.

Thats what i was thinking too. That 68 would be perfect. Plus yeah i can recoupe some loss qith the c4. The trick is going the 500 mile way round trip and having something that can hold the 200 too

You'd B surprised: Took back seat outta 01 ford focus - they stuffed a palletized 250 in there w/a fork lift. (ripped the weather stripin, head liner and driver's seat at R hip) but I got it home.

Yes Chad, that is what i said....No rear sump 250 ,it looks like a 200...78 should not be a 170.
