Intake help

Post #1 by Arty808 » Fri Apr 13, 2018 12:19 pm

Hey everyone. Slowly but surely coming along, rebuilding the head right now. The block and rolling assembly is where I’d like it to be.
So on to my question. I have three Weber Idf carbs for this son of a gun. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to make a manifold but theres not a whole lot of pictures out there to reference. Can anyone help me out with ideas? Did you have something fully custom made? Utilize the factory efi manifold?
Help!

Thanks!!

Clifford used to make an intake for the IDF's many, many years ago. You can use the factory EFI lower, but you'll have to adapt the port spacing to the throttle bore spacing. You'll have to keep the design IR because Webers don't like plenum style intakes.

Have an efi lower that I can chop up, and a friend who’s a good welder. That might be the best way to go.

They are 44 idf
