Heater hose connector 1979

Post #1 by 79 Truckster » Sat Sep 15, 2018 4:54 pm

I have a 1979 300 and I need a new heater hose connector but it is not available. What is available is a mid 80s and newer thermostat housing and heater hose connector. Does anyone know where I could get a correct heater hose connector? If not Would I be able to use an 85 thermostat housing on my 79?

:hmmm: Should work just fine. The old originals will usually be junk if they are the aluminum type.Corroded and full of pin holes.BTDT.Had the same problems with the cast iron ones too.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.
